So what is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care aims to detect and correct any health problems caused by the spine and it's connection to the nervous system. At E'town Chiropractic & Naturopathic, we use chiropractic therapy to treat your spine and your nerves. This ensures your whole body is working properly. These treatments are completely natural and do not use any drugs.

What is an Adjustment and how can it help me?

Spinal manipulation is also called spinal manipulative therapy. It’s a technique where practitioners use their hands or a device to apply a controlled thrust (that is, a force of a specific magnitude or degree in a specific direction) to a joint of your spine. The amount of force can vary, but the thrust moves the joint more than it would on its own. Some of the most common chiropractic adjustment benefits are: Reduced blood pressure, decreased neck or back pain, treatment of scoliosis, sciatica, and whiplash, reduction of inflammation, treatment of headaches and migraines, improvement in symptoms of neurological conditions, improved athletic performance, treatment of vertigo, and more! Some patients report relief of their symptoms in the first few adjustments.

What kind of adjustments does Dr. Tindall use?

Dr. Tindall is educated and proficient in all types of adjustments, but his preferred methods of adjustment are The Diversified Technique, Thompson Drop-Table Technique, The Gonstead Adjustment, and Flexion Distraction.

What therapies does your office offer?

We offer a wide variety of therapies and companion modalities. New Life Naturopathic offers the PEMF (Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy), and the Hydro-Massage Therapy Table. With our chiropractic care, we offer Intersegmental Traction, Cervical Traction, Distraction Traction, Percussive Therapy, therapeutic exercises, Neuro-Muscular Reprogramming Therapy (NMR), and more. These therapies are recommended by Dr. Tindall based upon the specific patients needs.

What is D.C., N.D., D.A.B.C.O.?

D.C. stands for Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Tindall graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with research honors in 1990. N.D. stands for Naturopathic Doctor. Dr. Tindall received his Doctorate in Naturopathic from Clayton College of Natural Health and graduated with highest honors. Dr Palmer adjustment

The First Adjustment: “I was deaf 17 years and I expected to always remain so, for I had doctored a great deal without any benefit. I had long ago made up my mind to not take any more ear treatments, for it did me no good.  Last January Dr. Palmer told me that my deafness came from an injury in my spine. This was new to me; but it is a fact that my back was injured at the time I went deaf. Dr. Palmer treated me on the spine; in two treatments I could hear quite well. That was eight months ago. My hearing remains good."

correct problem

The purpose of chiropractic care is to correct the underlying cause, rather than just treat the symptoms. All too often we have been taught our symptoms are the only way to gauge our health, but as with most diseases, the symptoms do not always show.
